On the other side of the coin, Jeremias explored how employment law can respond to a world in which automation hasn’t replaced workers-but their employers.

The Small Firms Division annual conference 2019 got off to a flying start with the welcome by the Law Society president and then the keynote address by Joshua Rozenberg QC (hon). Boddy Matthews was well represented by Helen and Kate to exchange views and discuss legal developments of interest.

Moore Kingston Smith hosted a fabulous evening at the Royal Mail Museum underneath the streets of London. Helen Boddy and Kate Matthews were delighted to be invited to share the launch of their new brand and enjoy the hidden treasures of the mail train system in the specially constructed tunnels rivalling the underground tube system.
Coast to Capital AGM
Boddy Matthews partner Kate participated in the Coast to Capital AGM and annual review at the highly acclaimed Epsom Racecourse. Key features of its investment strategy and support includes the imminent opening mid September 2019 by Dame Judi Dench of the Fairfield Halls and the new designs for the railway station at Gatwick Airport. Business is supported in technology advances by the testing of 5G across the South coast.

Helen Boddy flew the IT flag and attended the firm’s integrated software system providers (Advanced Legal) user day with a packed agenda covering information on the latest product release, user led round table discussions to share best practice, advice on overcoming obstacles to adopting technology and making best use of management information and business intelligence.

Kate enjoyed the lively discussion at the BFA Affiliates forum with franchise specialists from the Banks, lawyers, accountants, IT suppliers and marketing executives and recruiters and others.
