Boddy Matthews Solicitors are pleased to support this competitive, friendly, sociable Reigate based rugby club, which provides camaraderie and outdoor fun for the local community and which is open to all comers.

This year Boddy Matthews Solicitors have sponsored the U15’s boys squad kitting them out in striking blue and yellow training bibs to making the boys look and feel professional. Team Manager, Rory O’Neill, believes, ‘This helps to move the mind-set of the boys to a more serious level; to realise that at U15, they are now part of a proper team and that preparation and attention to detail is becoming more important when they are training/playing rugby.’

The Boddy Matthews team had a wonderful time at a Pizza and Prosecco Charity Party in aid of the very worthwhile charities: Children with Cancer and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The event was held at stunning venue of the Holbein Hall at Reigate Priory School. Boddy Matthews were pleased to support the event by making a charitable donation to the Auction. The event was a great success and raised over £7,000 for the charities!

The Boddy Matthews team together with their four legged friends had great fun on the annual Surrey Legal Walk in aid of charity! Luckily the sun was shining for the 10k walk across the Surrey countryside which was an invigorating start to the week. Boddy Matthews Solicitors raised sponsorship for the Surrey Law Centre which provides pro bono advice in Surrey.

The Boddy Matthews team with dogs supported the YMCA Charity Santa Run with their traditional festive outfits and good cheer despite the sleet and rain! A good time was had by all for a worthwhile cause. Happy Christmas from the team.

Helen Boddy and Harriet Hutchinson participated in Run Reigate on 17 September 2017 for the RGS Foundation in aid of the Changing Lives Campaign.

Helen and Harriet joined a team of 18 runners taking part in this popular community event (with varying degrees of training completed!) Double Olympic Champion Dame Kelly Holmes was there to spur them on towards the finish line.

The Boddy Matthews team plus dogs enjoyed the fund raising 5 mile legal walk across the North Downs with other Surrey lawyers. Surrey law centres manned pro bono by legal volunteers like us at Boddy Matthews will benefit from the funds raised.

The Surrey Law Centre is a registered Charity which helps disadvantaged and vulnerable people gain access to justice.

In association with the Surrey Law Centre we provide free legal advice to disadvantaged and vulnerable people to help them gain access to justice. We believe that access to justice should be equally available to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances.

As part of this scheme we conduct face to face clinic appointments to provide advice that will assist individuals in the local community to work out what their legal problem is; what action they need to take to deal with it and practical steps they can take to resolve matters.

Boddy Matthews lawyers and family sported a team of Santa Clauses lead by partner solicitor Kate Mathews and trainee solicitor Harriet Hutchinson for the 2015 Santa Run in aid of the charitable works at St Catherine’s Hospice which cares for and supports terminally ill patients. Great fun was had by all the Santas in supporting this cause.

This September, a team from our important client Caremark Limited, is cycling from John O’ Groats to Land’s End in 10 days. The team is made up of franchisees and staff from Caremark who have joined together with a target of raising £100,000 for Alzheimer’s Society.

Caremark is a leading UK and international home care provider offering domiciliary care, personal support, home help and companionship services with over 75 offices throughout the UK.

Boddy Matthews are proud sponsors of the Caremark team and wish them every success with the challenge of around 1,000 miles in 10 days.
